'Twas the week before Christmas,
And out at RLC,
When the kids were visited
By a jolly group of three.
The Children's Center was happy
the kids knew Christmas was near
They'd never guessed who
would suddenly appear.
It was the Jolly old man,
Yes! Santa himself,
Joined by the Grinch
And Buddy the Elf
The children were happy,
With smiles ear to ear.
They couldn't contain their excitement,
With Santa this near.
The jolly old elf
had a book in his arms.
Then read to the kids
And shared all his charm
The children listened intently,
To Santa and friends
Of the night before Christmas,
And the magic it extends
The Grinch stood by,
His heart now so bright,
No longer stealing Christmas,
But helping to make it right.
And Buddy the Elf,
Was full of great cheer,
Helping Santa and the Grinch,
with all the reindeer.
When the story was finished,
Santa gave presents to the tots.
They shared with each other,
And thought happy thoughts.
So here's to Santa,
the Grinch, and the Elves
For bringing joy to children,
With love from themselves.
