INA, Ill. (May 30, 2024) — Rend Lake College acknowledged the achievements of its employees on May 3, during the annual RLC Faculty and Staff Awards at the RLC Event Center.

"This event is a good tradition we hold just before graduation," said RLC President Terry Wilkerson. "We get together and take a look back on the work we did over the past year, recognize the dedication and hard work of our faculty and staff who are celebrating service milestones, present awards for outstanding work and show our gratitude for the careers of our retirees. Each individual plays a role in our success and growth. We have many exciting projects on the horizon at the college: the Southern Illinois Manufacturing Academy opening in August, the Banterra Sports Complex breaking ground this fall, a new Allied Health Center moving forward at the Capital Development Board and our progress in Competency-Based Education, just to name a few."
